Senior Research Analyst

Reports to: Head of Research

Role Description

The role requires a passionate and committed individual who can contribute to both research and fund management.

• In-depth research (initiating & maintenance) on companies and industries.
• The role also requires senior analysts to pitch investment ideas as per the investment philosophy of Banyan Tree.

Core Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

• Create/Maintain financial models for existing and new companies
• In-depth research in existing and new sectors/companies
• Make detailed presentations to the research team (on Investment ideas)
• Actively track holding companies – quarterly calls/management meetings/annual report review
• Pitch new investment ideas to the fund management team as per the investment philosophy
• Interact with managements of companies, attend conferences/management calls and build investment hypotheses, and present to the internal team of analysts and Portfolio Managers

Qualifications and Experience

• CA / CFA/ MBA
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in equity research
• Strong academic track record
